ORCHIS | Interim Management - revisited

At ORCHIS | Interim Executives, we believe interim management can be done differently. No hidden margins, no long-term intermediaries. We employ a clear and honest approach that benefits both clients and interim executives.

Our approach

  • Fixed starting fee : A one-time selection fee of €15,000 excluding VAT , paid by the client at the start of the assignment. That's it!

  • Direct billing : The interim executive invoices the client directly, without ORCHIS' intervention. From the outset, the executive's full daily rate goes directly to the leader.

  • High-quality matches : Because interim executives retain their full daily rate, we attract top candidates who would otherwise be unavailable due to budget constraints. This results in high-quality matches with high-profile leaders who make an immediate impact.

Why is ORCHIS so often chosen?

  • Cost savings : Traditional models charge a daily margin on top of the interim manager's rate. For example: An interim executive earns €1,000 per day, and the intermediary invoices €1,300 per day. That's a typical margin of €300 per day. This can easily amount to €6,000 per month, and €36,000 over a six-month period. Furthermore, an interim executive more often works on assignments ranging from nine months to one to two years.
    At ORCHIS you only pay a one-time starting fee, which results in significant savings.

What you can expect

At ORCHIS, we work with independent (freelance) recruiters. Therefore, we don't offer a fixed salary or per diem, but a clear and fair earnings model:

  • 50% of the fee on every placement you successfully complete

  • Complete freedom in where, when, how and with whom you work

  • You choose your own customers and assignments - quality comes first

  • Access to our free ORCHIS expertise center (Academy) with moments of inspiration, physical workshops, online training and practical knowledge sharing

Everything we organize (knowledge sessions, peer reviews, inspiration days) is free and designed to inspire you. Nothing is mandatory, everything is allowed.

Want to work part-time at ORCHIS?
Yes, that's possible too! You're self-employed, so you choose how much you work, where you work, and when you work.
Of course, this is also possible part-time. There are just two logical requirements, and I'd be happy to tell you more about them!

Who we are looking for

  • You have at least 10 years of experience in recruitment , a significant part of which in executive search

  • You feel like a fish in water in the world of CEOs, management teams and strategic decision makers

  • You think in terms of opportunities and connections, and get energy from high-level matching

  • You are independent (or ready to be) and want to help build an innovative interim management network

  • You are based in Belgium or the Netherlands and work fluently digitally

Quality over quantity
At ORCHIS, we deliberately avoid KPIs related to the number of sessions, intakes, or presentations. You are independent and free to manage your time as you see fit to achieve success. Your time is valuable, so choose the actions that lead to success. We don't believe in volume, but in high-quality programs with conscious choices .

Are you working on one, two, or just three vacancies a month, for clients you genuinely want to collaborate with? Then we'll definitely be there supporting you from the sidelines. Because that's what success is, for us.

You screen candidates thoroughly – online or in person – and only introduce someone if you feel they're the perfect fit . One candidate who gets to interview and immediately feels right is worth more to us than ten "active presentations" without results.

We're a boutique. And that means no quotas, no pushy behavior, no rush.
